Today I would like to talk about a perfume that was sent to me by a French perfumery house called Les Fleurs Du Golfe (Gulf flowers). To begin with, the case is of a beautiful presentation. It is made of cardboard and has a fairly heavy weight. You can find all the information about the perfume right at the bottom of the case: extract of perfume Sugar Oud. A few small scratches are noticed on the packaging and are surely related to shipping. But no matter, what really matters is the smell that we will find inside this perfume.
The presentation of the bottle is quite unique and I appreciate it ! The bottle is heavy and its glass is really thick. Even its cap has a certain weight and magnetically attracts to the head of the bottle. You can take your bottle of Oud perfume even by its cap without it falling. It is a very nice presentation.
Sugar Oud will hit you with this pinkish coloring of the liquid and will definitely give you an idea about the smell of this fragrance.
Sugar Oud is a niche Oud fragrance that you can find on the official website Les Fleurs du Golfe (Gulf Flowrs),which is a relatively new French oriental perfumery brand. Its price is quite affordable especially if we compare it to other niche perfumes that have the same style of smells. As a result, this perfume is not expensive if we look at its performance, its concentration and the quality of its smells.
Now let’s move on to what interests us the most. Let’s test its smell… Its atomizer is quite nice. The top notes of this fragrance are based on passion fruit and peach,its middle notes consist of raspberry and lily of the valley,and its base notes are made from oud and vanilla.
So you should expect a very fruity starter, which is the case when you smell this scent! Especially when you try it on the skin. It gives us a sweet, fruity and tropical smell. This Oud fragrance is an overdose of tropical fruits!
This fragrance is very intense! Despite its fruity side, it has such an intense gourmet facet that will appeal to all those who love this kind of sweet fragrances!
The mixture tries to take up the natural smells and we feel perfectly this scent of the passion fruit. I’d say it’s realistic! The fruity nuances remain dominant from the head to the bottom of the fragrance. But as the fragrance develops, you feel that vanilla side that looks like a sweet burnt caramel. The note of Oud comes at the very end to give a woody dye to this perfume.
Sugar Oudis a fairly easy fragrance to wear. Despite the fact that Oud wood is called resinous, it remains quite westernized in this perfume. If you want attention and compliments,or if you want to stand out in the crowd,this fragrance is ideal for you!
For my part, I do not find this perfume too sweet but it could be that those who do not like sweet fragrances find it quite greedy! You must love the fruity and gourmet fragrances to appreciate this fragrance.
